Where is the explosive mixture in amnesia

I have made the explosive mixture and have it in a jar. But I can not find anywhere near the blockage in the storage room where the game will let me put it. I have tried placing it on boxes and barrels but I just get the message User Info: gecko Top Voted Answer.

You put it on the floor near the cave-in. Walking further in, you'll eventually reach a rubble collapse; Daniel will write a Memento noting to find a way through good thing we have an explosive.

Make sure to pick up the Tinderbox near the candle on the ground, then use the explosive anywhere on the rocks to have Daniel set it on the ground. Throw one of the nearby rocks at the pot, then run back up the staircase nearby to avoid taking damage.

After the rubble is cleared, Daniel will receive a sanity boost. After walking past the debris, you'll approach a room with a small divider. On the right side of this divider, grab the Tinderbox at about eye-level on the wooden shelf. On the other side of this divider, you'll see a stack of barrels in the corner. Move these barrels to find a chest with two Tinderboxes and a Laudanum. After looting the chest, walk down the nearby hallway to receive a flashback of the same woman from earlier.

Going down the left side, look for a Tinderbox on the divider near the three small crates. Near the spot you are standing, look a little to the left and you'll see some small flour sacks on the shelf. Near these sacks is another Tinderbox.

A little to the right of this spot, you'll find some small, moveable crates on the shelf. Move this crates to find an Oil. Now, head to the right side of the room. You should see two doors on the wall of this side. In between these doors are two shelves; the shelf closest to the rightside door has a Tinderbox at about eye-level.

Now enter the door on the right. You should see some hanging pig corpses in this room. Turn right upon entering and look on the wooden shelf to find another Tinderbox at eye-level.

Turn around from this shelf and you should see an army of barrels in the corner. Move some of these barrels to find an Oil on the ground. You've found everything in here, so exit. The other room nearby has a surprise waiting for you. You can either deal with it now or wait until later; for this walkthrough, I'll explain how to deal with it now.

Open the door slightly, and you should here a Grunt spawn inside the room. Either run to the previous room and hide, stay on the other side of the divider and keep an eye on him until he leaves, or run further back from where you came and hide somewhere.

Whichever path you choose, enter the room he was in once you feel safe. In the back left corner, grab the Tinderbox on the bottom rack of the wooden shelf, and then grab the Tinderbox two racks up on the same shelf. In the opposite corner, near the sacks of flour on the floor, grab the other Tinderbox in this room. Finally, exit the room and walk down the nearby hallway to receive another flashback of the woman being killed.

After dealing with the jumpscare, head into the nearby Machine Parts room. Picking up the rods will give Daniel a sanity boost but also spawn a Grunt nearby.

Head beyond this shelf and pick up the Tinderbox behind the crate. But I haven't. Nevertheless, the game allowed me to move on. So, now what? Or maybe, is there some other pot or something in those rooms that I could make use of? Or am I missing could be!! Starting over the whole game in order to get the pot in the first place is really not an option at this point. I have already loaded a previous saved game when a huge gear went missing because I threw it on a wall.

However, I want to go on with the game. So, that will have to work.
